Diptych Final Work!!

That was very interesting hearing the class' feedback. I was also surprise to see what were the best pictures. Well, I know i had so much work to show and that made the critic a little harder for you guys, but I had so much material that I felt that I needed to try different ideas. Specially because I wanted to see the final Product. That's pretty much why I print that many.

This was an interesting topic: How to manipulate RAW files. On this project, I was able to change and fix a photo I took of my nice Frida. When I took this picture, I didn't chenge the withe balance situation. I took the picture indoor, so the photograph came out orange, But with photo shop and having taken the picture in RAW format, I was able to fix the pic. Very nice feature.

In this project, we were able to scan an old picture and retouched. Since I did not have an old picture on hand, I decide to use one of my Black and Withe photographs I took i Photo 1A. This is an old shack near the restaurant where I work, next to the cherry orchard at the end of Hammer Lane and hwy 99.

Portrait

This is the last collage I needed to do for the Hockney Project. I ended up taking pictures of my nice Frida indoors with not very good light. I really did not like the result because the pictures are not as sharp as I would like them to be. I also found out hoe difficult it is to photograph a child with slow shutter speed. No bueno!

Overall, I enjoyed playing with the Photoshop software that I just install into my computer. Now I won't be bounded to work only in the lab and I will have more time to practice at home.

This is my interior Collage which I did using the Photomerge function on Photoshop. Very nice feature, but it takes the cubic look away from the other way to do it. I ended up doing two merges, but I'm undecided which one to turn as final one.

Finally i got my Slide show turned in. I liked it just some minor problems with the timing on the transitions. I was the first one which is always good!!
Here is my Landscape final done too.

UOP Review!

Well, I tried to upload my pictures from the visit to the art gallery at UOP, but unfortunately my camera didn't cooperate. Too bad and too sad because i was looking forward to see those pictures again and write about them.

Now, I just going to post some pictures that I found interesting. Enjoy them and please make a comment about them. Those are random shoots.
